As a Controls and Electrical Specialist (Electrician), you will support the safe and reliable operation of our manufacturing facility by maintaining and improving electrical and control systems in a regulated environment. Your work directly enables consistent production, compliance, and team success.

Your impact:

Electrical Systems & Installation:

  • Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, HVAC, and plant equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

Troubleshooting & Repair

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, motors, drives, servos, transformers, and panels
  • Perform bench repairs on electrical components and instruments
  • Complete preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime

Projects, Safety & Compliance: 

  • Collaborate with engineering, mechanical, and facilities teams on site projects and validations
  • Follow all safety legislation, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, SOPs, and cGMP requirements
  • Maintain documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams

What you’ll bring

  • Electrical trade certification (442A) or equivalent technical qualification 
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing or regulated environments
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, transformers, panels, and control systems 
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety‑first mindset 
  • Experience within a pharmaceutical, food or packaging environments is an asset
  • CET or equivalent designation is an asset

We’re offering a competitive compensation with a starting rate of $40.00 per hour, based on a 40-hour week. Pay will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
