Summary of position

We are looking for summer students for entry-level warehouse positions to assist with daily operations during regular day shifts. Duties include loading/unloading shipments, organizing inventory, picking/packing orders, waste handling, and operating equipment like lift trucks and baling machines. You will also prepare materials for production orders and perform routine maintenance.

More about your responsibilities:

• Unload, receive, and store materials and/or finished goods.
• Load trucks with outgoing materials and/or finished goods.
• Prepare material for production orders — cores, divider cards, trays, corrugate, etc.
• Accurately pick and/or pack orders according to customer needs and delivery lists.
• Collect waste from various departments within the plant and warehouse.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space, and workstations tidy.
• Make suggestions for productivity improvements within the warehouse.
• Ensure all applicable Quality, Health & Safety Management System policies & procedures and Environmental Management System policies & procedures are followed.

What you’ll bring

• Registered in full-time postsecondary school.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to start working from the beginning of May until September.
• Must be +18 years.
