As a Flexographic Press Operator, you'll operate and optimize flexographic printing equipment, such as Lombardi and Gallus presses, to produce high-quality label products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. You'll lead by example on the production floor, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain the standards that drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Accountable For:

  • Press Operations: Safely set up, operate, and monitor Lombardi and/or Gallus flexographic presses to deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed production standards.
  • Production Execution: Follow production schedules and priorities to support on-time delivery and efficient workflow.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify customer-specific requirements and ensure finished products meet quality expectations and regulatory standards.
  • System Accuracy: Maintain accurate production records and data entry within business and quality management systems.
  • Equipment Care: Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections to maximize uptime and performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with technical, quality, and operations teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements.
  • Issue Resolution: Document and communicate quality, equipment, safety, and production concerns to support timely corrective actions.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all SOPs, GMPs, health and safety requirements, environmental standards, and quality management system processes.
  • Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment through strong housekeeping practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings and work collaboratively across teams to achieve operational goals.

What you’ll bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexographic printing certification or related training is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience operating flexographic web printing presses.
  • Experience within the printing and/or packaging industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, quality standards, and press troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with production schedules and manufacturing systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency with computer-based production and reporting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • A proactive approach to safety, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
