As Senior Vice President, Packaging Services, you will lead the overall management and performance of the Packaging Services business, directly overseeing five senior leaders. Reporting to the President & CEO, you will develop and execute strategies, manage people and processes, and ensure operational excellence and effective asset deployment. You will play a key role in achieving financial goals related to earnings, return on capital, and business growth—serving as a strategic partner and visible driver of transformation across the organization.

More about your responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide general management and vision to the entire business unit; shaping strategy, building the team, driving performance and growth, making critical investment and operational recommendations and decisions.
    • Develop high-quality business strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term objectives established by the President and CEO.
    • Ensure appropriate organizational capability, resource planning, and structural design that enables growth at pace.
  • Team Building & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing divisional management team; supporting overall employee engagement, development, talent selection and succession planning.
  • Market Growth: Connect customer needs with sales strategy, operational capability, and capital deployment; develop high-level strategy and ensure disciplined execution, turning vision into action and business results. Leverage market trends and prioritize new market opportunities.
  • Business & Financial: Ownership of the full budget process and business success for Packaging Services.
    • Make sound investment decisions to advance the business and increase profits by leading capital planning activities, making recommendations, and holding the business unit accountable for expected outcomes.
  • Performance Management: Collaboratively set clear KPIs and objectives for the commercial, operational, and supply chain teams, while ensuring accountability toward successful achievement.

What you’ll bring:

  • Post-secondary degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or Marketing; an MBA is a strong asset.
  • 10+ years of general management experience, ideally within pharmaceutical packaging or a closely related manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success leading a full business unit or division with end-to-end responsibility, including P&L ownership, strategic planning, and operational execution.
  • Strong leadership track record in building high-performing teams, driving accountability, and translating complexity into actionable direction.
  • Experience leading commercial teams or contributing significantly to strategic account. management, with confidence in balancing cost, feasibility, and customer needs in client discussions.
  • Financial acumen with a hands-on approach to evaluating costs, capital investments, and business performance to drive ROI and long-term value.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change, including the implementation of new capabilities and capital projects within a plant or multi-site environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a bias for action and a strong drive to deliver results.
  • Strategic thinker who thrives in complexity and brings clarity and focus to ambiguous situations.
  • Decisive and self-aware leader with a consultative approach and ability to foster trust across teams and stakeholders.
