The Regional Business Development Manager – Medication Adherence plays a key role in driving Jones’ growth by managing sales and strengthening partnerships within the US marketplace for our Medication Adherence products. This role focuses on expanding sales with existing accounts, acquiring new customers, and growing the distribution of our adherence products across the US.

Please note that this is a remote position with travel required across the Southeastern United States.

More about your responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue and profit targets within the assigned territory. Conduct customer visits, drive product sales, and identify new business opportunities in the medication adherence market.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Utilize Salesforce to build and maintain a regional Sales & Opportunity funnel; monitor and analyze sales activities, and make recommendations to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, including leadership and pharmacy operations teams, and maintain relationships with pharmacy automation/technology partners to drive new business opportunities.
  • Distributor & Wholesaler Relationships: cultivate relationships with regional distributors and wholesalers to expand market reach, collaborating with internal teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding and ensure operational support.
  • Industry Engagement: participate in key industry events, such as trade shows and conferences, and engage with relevant trade associations such as NACDS, NCPA, and CPESN.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to the business planning process by preparing customer segment analyses, sales funnel expectations, and probability of close reports.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactively monitor competitors, customers, and automation partners, and present regular reports to leadership on market conditions, opportunities, risks, and sales performance.

What you’ll bring

  • Post-secondary education with a business focus is required. 
  • 7+ years of sales experience in the U.S. retail/long-term care pharmacy industry with a strong record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of the medication adherence market, pharmacy workflows, and automation technology.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
